XPS 13 9380, Bluetooth headphones won't work

I recently got some Sony WH-CH700 wireless bluetooth headphones. Despite being able to pair with my laptop, they will not appear on the list of Playback Devices, and attempting to Connect to them on Bluetooth Device settings will bring up the message "That didn't work. Make sure your Bluetooth device is still discoverable, then try again.". Anyone know what's up here, and can offer any advice on how to resolve the issue? The headphones will connect without issue to my smartphone. The laptop's Bluetooth driver is "Qualcomm QCA61x4A Bluetooth", version 10.0.0.916 if that helps at all.
