Dell BIOS update failed

Hi ,

I have a Dell XPS 15 9570.

I recently upgraded my BISO from 1.13.0 to 1.14.0. Which degraded the performance of my PC. I decided to downgrade to 1.13.0 but am getting a bios upgrade failed every time I try to downgrade it.

I tried to figure out the problem and god to know that every time Main System TI Port Controller 0 is unable to downgrade itself from 8.0.17 to 8.0.0.11.

Please guide me how can I roll back my bios to previous version.

THe error code I received is ME Firmware EndUpdate Failed Error:0x00002267.

Welcome to the Dell Community   @prasant737

Have you tried both of these methods???

First option:

Create a new folder on your desktop named “BIOS Update”

Then download your BIOS update.

Dell XPS 15 9570 System BIOS: "Version 1.13.0"

https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=fpcc0&oscode=wt64a&productcode=xps-15-9570-laptop

Copy the update to that folder you just created.

Close all Windows and Apps you may have open.

Go to the folder and right click on the update file and “Run as Administrator”

Second option:

Create a bootable USB drive using “Rufus”

https://rufus.ie/

Copy the BIOS update to the bootable USB drive you just created..

Insert USB drive, power-on and start tapping the “ F12 “ key.

Boot from USB and run the BIOS update.

After reboot test and post any results.

Best regards,

U2

Getting the same error. I think there is something wrong with the package.

From your computer,

open up the start and type in device manager, I look for FIRMWARE once you select that go to properties, select "DRIVER" and then roll back Driver. that should help for it to go back to 1.0.13 I believe.
