Dell Update speakers not working

I've had absolutely nothing but issues with my Dell XPS 15 since I got it back 2 months ago, but now even the updates are making it worse. Just installed latest BIOS along with all the other recommended updates and my speakers are barely working at all anymore. Has anyone else had this issue?

Further, I have a consistent grinding noise that nobody at Dell Support seems to be able to solve, but that's a whole other issue. Really unimpressed.
