XPS 13 9350, new battery, does not turn on, power button LED is on
Hello All,
I just replaced the battery on my Dell XPS 13 9350 since the previous battery got swollen. I ordered a genuine Dell replacement battery and installed it just now but already running into problems...below is a quick outline of what is going on...
* replaced battery with genuine dell battery since the old battery swelled
*laptop will not turn on
*power button LED however is always ON
*cannot seem to turn off the power button LED unless I unplug the battery
*the laptop starts running hot as soon as I plug the battery in
I have been fighting battery issues with XPS 13 for quite some time...any help will be greatly appreciated.
***update***
I tried running the laptop with just AC power and it does the same thing...the power LED comes on, stays on, won't turn off (unless I pull the AC power) and the laptop still won't start...please help...

Welcome to the Dell Community @Lassen768
Disconnect the AC adapter.
Disconnect the Main battery.
Disconnect the CMOS/BIOS battery.
Connect the AC adapter and power-on.
It may take pushing the power button 3-4 times.
Does the laptop try to boot at this time???
Best regards,

Did you have any luck with this? I have the same problem right now. Does removing the CMOS battery work?

There are only nine screws to remove.
Eight on the base and one under the XPS flap.
Disconnect the AC adapter.
Disconnect the Main battery.
Disconnect the CMOS/BIOS battery.
Connect the AC adapter and power-on.
It may take pushing the power button 3-4 times.
