Dell XPS 15 7590 or Refurb Surface Book 2 15"?

The XPS has an i7, 16 GB Ram, 1 TB SSD for $1,878 after sale discounts and coupons and with 2 year Premium Support and Accidental Damge.

The Surface Book 2 15" refurb is from Amazon Renewals, i7, 16 GB ram, 512 GB SSD, for $1,984 with Amazons 2 year Asurion warranty.

The XPS for better or worse is newer and has a newer CPU, the SB2 has the 1060 which is about 30% faster than the XPS 1650. The surface book as the 2-in-1 capability and detachability, which is nice to have but not essential. I do appreciate it though. The Surface has have the storage of the XPS though. The only thing I'd be using storage for is a few games though.

My main uses are light gaming, media consumption, programming. The prices are fairly neck and neck, its my understanding that the SB2 is pretty excellent device though.
