XPS 15 9560, battery plugged in, not charging, #4

Hi,

I have a 9560 and use the standard Dell issued 130W Charger to power my machine as recommended by Dell and recently I’ve faced some issues where the machine is picking up that the charger has been plugged in but not charging my machine.

I’ve already gone into the BIOS and validated that it’s picking up the chargers (I’ve tried various) and that my battery health is excellent since this is just over a 1 year old machine. 

What are my options to diagnose and get this fixed by Dell if I just became out of warranty?

Try a system reset. Disconnect the battery and unplug the adapter. Now press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then reconnect everything and see if the system charges as normal.
