Dell XPS 9500 lid issue

Screenshot_20200727-120543_Gallery.jpg

Im experiencing an issue with my Dell XPS 9500 that I received today. When the laptop is tilted up to an angle of about 75 degrees the lid opens by about a centimeter. This is the second replacement laptop I've received, the first replacement also having this issue. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is it part of the design of this laptop to help you open the lid as there is no lip?

I did a quick Google search as well as a search on this forum and you are right.

The problem is not in your product. The issue exists in all XPS 9500.

Most of the XPS 9500 have this issue and there are many more to accompany this issue.

I believe you will shortly get a message from Dell Assistant anyway.

Be hooked up to this forum till then.

As this is the second laptop I've received with a hinge / lid behaving like this I would inclined to agree. However, the original laptop I received had a solid hinge, the lid did not open when tilted back ( I have a comparison video). This laptop however was more difficult to open.
