Dell charger off when 100% xps 13
I just bought a xps 13 9380 recently and noticed that the indicator light on the charger will turn of by itself and the charger will stop working after the laptop reaches 100% charge.
This only happens when i'm charging from below 90% to full and i have to replug the charger for it to turn back on again.
I was told by technical support on the phone that this was a feature for the laptop, just wanted to confirm if it's true or not.

Not sure if this answers your question, but now-days ... most quality-made AC-Adapters (Switch Mode Power Supplies or SMPS ) power-down or power-back when there is little or no load on them.
Even if unplugged from laptop, but the little LED built-into the plug-end is still illuminated (like I've seen on some recent Genuine Dell ones) ... it is still powered-back down to low amps.
