Driver suggested by support does not match my video card.

Hi Community,

I just received my splendid XPS 9710 with the "490-BGUF : NVIDIA(R) GeForce RTX(TM) 3060 6GB GDDR6 [70W]" video card. I now open the SupportAssist or online Support Driver update and I get a "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050/3056 Graphics Driver" urgent update to be applied. I don't have an RTX 3050/3056 on my laptop. Wondering why I get such recommendation?
Current driver installed is:

GEFORCE GAME READY DRIVER
Version: 497.09 WHQL
Release Date: 2021.12.1
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11
Language: English (US)
File Size: 830.51 MB

I found this driver on NVidia website matching the "RTX 3060 Laptop". I could have install the studio driver as well depending on what I do recently. How can I prevent from receiving 3050/3056 update recommendations?

This happens to me as well. The update ends up failing, presumably because it’s the wrong driver. Hopefully Dell will address this.

I have same problem.  It appears Dell has removed the driver from the download site but SupportAssist and Command Update both still think it is a required download.  Is there a way to remove it?  It does fail if attempt to install it is made, but it stays in the queue.
