G7 Inconsistent Volume
My Dell G7 went through an update a month or two ago. I don't remember exactly when. However, I've noticed that since then whenever a new audio source begins (music, video, radio stream, etc.) the volume starts high and then slowly comes down to normal levels after about 5 seconds. This happens whether I am using onboard or external speakers.
Any thoughts?

In browsing other topics, I tried rolling back the driver. That fixed it, but I'm using an outdated driver now.

Did you ever find a solution, my G5 is doing the same thing. Or, what driver are you running?

Yes, I did find a solution to it, but that was 2 1/2 years ago. I don't remember what the solution was.
