How to wake XPS13 from sleep by keyboard over Wake on USB?

I have a brandnew XPS13 2017 running a fresh install of Win 10 Enterprise, a D3100 Docking Station and a KB522 USB keyboard. The computer and the docking station are connected to power.

The BIOS version is 2.1.0 (latest) and Wake-On-USB is enabled. I've switched to Legacy boot instead of UEFI in case this might matter.

I want to use the computer with a closed lid and enter and resume from sleep mode by the dedicated "sleep" button on the KB522 keyboard without opening up the lid.

Which settings need to be applied to BIOS and OS to make the system behave as desired?
