Input freezing while background update

Hi all,

i´m from Germany and i hope you are able to understand me

I own a DELL XPS 15 9550 and randomly and especially on Windows products like word, excel and outloock the input freezes. That means that i´m unable to click at any input field. This always happens if an Dell update was installed in the background. I have to restart my PC and afterwards i receive an "Update sucessfull" message.

My question is how to skip the automatically Dell updates? Its very hard to reboot the PC all the time and had not saved any written Text before
