Precision 5530 cloning boot drive to 970ssd problem
Hi Dell community
I have a precission 5530 and I want to swap the hard drive to a Samsung nvme 970 drive for larger battery.
I run the system in HACI mode to run the Samsung driver.
But the Samsung migration software still shows me that cloning fail, without actually cloning anything. Error code "-00001 fffffffff)
I use across True image to clone t he drive, did get most of the file cloned, but can't make it bootable.
I use ease us .macronium reflect. To clone the drive, and it still doesn't work.
Before cloning I also went to partion manager to switch the drive online and even initial lized it. I try most of the things I can do, but I'm not sure which part I do wrong.
Do I have a faulty nvme slot ??

Probably not a bad M.2 slot. You have the system in AHCI which is fine and I would turn off SecureBoot. But try the following pages for some added advice.
