I've had the power adapter on my XPS 13 9360 replaced four times in the past year. The last has only lasted three months but Dell refuses to replace it. Turns out the frail 4.5mm plug is failing. After a lot of years and 30-40 computers, plus monitors and various other components I'm not happy. All of the offshore tech support people could care less. As such, I've purchased my last Dell! I'm writing this on my Microsoft Surface Book which is a much better built laptop which has been totally reliable!
I've bought the USB-C version of the power adapter for the XPS 13 and that plug seems much more robust.
