XPS 13 9343 Wireless Card Replacement

HI all,

I am looking to replace the stock card that is malfunctioning it seems with an Intel card. Can someone recommend the best Intel card that will work properly with this laptop? I've found  this: Intel 8265 Card

It seems to be recommended for this model but post recommending it is 2 years old. I don't mind getting this but if there is a better one you guys would recommend that would be better yet still highly compatible and stable then I would go for that.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi CoreSolutions Software,

Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.

There are several sources available to purchase an Intel card for this system.  Dell Spare Parts, parts-people.com, or Discount Electronics.

If you need additional assistance, please contact me privately. Be sure to include your personal information (name, address, telephone, email) and your computer's service tag number in your message. Thanks.

The Intel 8265 is a very solid card, easy to find on the aftermarket, and will work with your system.  The newer card is the Intel 9260, but it's harder to find (at least from reputable sources) and unless you're doing very heavy data transfers on your internal network, it's unlikely to make a difference compared to the 8265.  Do not however get the Intel 9560, since that won't work with your system; it's essentially a 9260 but with some components not on the card because the card expects the CPU to have those components instead, which most CPUs on the market today don't.

I looked for a replacement card for the XPS 9343. The Parts People did not have the Dell card but listed the AC-7265 as compatible. I purchased and installed it. The WiFi works and the Bluetooth shows up and connects my bluetooth headsets BUT not sound! Does not seem to be compatible with the XPS 13.
