XPS 15 9500 System BIOS and Intel Thunderbolt Controller Driver Updates will not download
Under the Dell Update, two new critical updates recently appeared: the XPS 15 9500 System BIOS and Intel Thunderbolt Controller Driver. Neither one will download to my computer and the only status that I receive is "Failed." There is no error message. Has anyone else experienced this issue and, if so, did they find a solution? I have tried many times to download these updates and once, when it appeared the BIOS was going to download, (the three dots were alternately blinking), I left the computer on all night and still 0.00 of 26 MB downloaded. Thank you for any help that you can provide.

I have the same problem for my XPS 9700. I've also formatted my primary drive and reinstalled the OS again from Dell Assist OS Recovery, and still get this error.

I also have the same problem with XPS 15 9500 system bios update - and the problem has been repeated for some months. Always just states "Failed"
