XPS 15 9500 Won't Boot

My 9500 suddenly isn't able to boot this morning. I remember in the past month it has gone from sleep to a blue screen which was fixed by restarting but this morning is a first. I've tried unplugging and plugging the adapter.

When I press or hold the power button the dell logo appears. The caplocks light is on. The power light is white and solid. There is no beeping. The fans power on for a short while. Then everything turns off.

Welcome to the Dell Community @aftermoon

Hold down the “ D “ key and power-on.

The laptop should go through an LCD test of solid White, Red, Green, Blue and Black 2-3 times.

After completion it should try to boot 2-3 times.

Post your result.

Best regards,

U2

@U2CAMEB4MEI guess at that point the adapter plug also fell out lol. Once I reconnected it the laptop successfully booted!!! Should I disable sleep / hibernate?
