XPS 15 9510 not allowing 4k on external display

Hey,

i have a Dell XPS 15 9510
Intel core i7, 16gb RAM, Nvidia rtx 3050ti

and i have it connected to a dell g3223q 4k display via a usb-c hub and HDMI

however i am not able to get thge external display to get 4k resolution. i can only get 1900x1080 or 1900x1200(like the laptop display) also i only get 60hz instead of 120 or 144 and no hdr...

i have everything updated and checked the cables, everything works on my ps5 with the same calbe and port on the display(4k res, 120hz, hdr)
