XPS 15 9550 WAN Miniport Exclamation Mark

I'm trying to set up an XPS 15 9550 on Windows 10, however in the device manager one device continues to have an exclamation mark against it - the WAN Miniport, which reads (in properties):

"Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device. (code 56)"

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hi DickieDebbil,

Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.

Code 56 pertains to a Hardware/driver conflict with Win10. 

The usual cause for this due to an update and a conflict with your wan hardware.  The suggestion from Microsoft is to remove the hardware, update the OS, then it should work.
