XPS 15 9570, Killer 1550 WiFi card

Someone installed a Killer 1550 WiFi card into Dell XPS 15 9570?

Most folks just want to get rid of Killer because of issues, not because of its specs ;) Mind the QCA wifi radio in the 1535 is actually well regarded by wifi gurus; it is the Killer "advanced features" and drivers causing issues. Several reputable sources reported major improvements just by removing the driver thoroughly and replacing it with the latest version from Killer site, preferably the "driver-only" version without the suite. The 1550 has the Intel wifi radio also found in the Intel 9260, which is the replacement card of choice for most.

I have replaced 1550 with AC 9260. My reasons were because my PC would not reconnect to my wifi automatically. Removing/reinstaling drivers made no difference. Replacement card was cheap and fairly easy to install, however be careful removing Torcx screws to get access, I'm sure they are made of very cheap plastic :) My problems were solved with the 9260 and as an added bonus I now have Bluetooth 5.0. Hope this helps.

I run the Killer Wireless 1550 in one of my machines.  Since I have an AX router I get the high link speeds the card affords.

I agree that some of the problems folks had with the 1535 and maybe 1550 were because of the original installs of the drivers.  My card is rock steady and have had no connection problems.  I do have a fairly expensive router and strong Wi-Fi signals.

The card does show as an Intel 9260 and even uses those drivers, although it may not have some additional components an Intel driver install might contain.  I have both so if you want to compare drivers, let us know.

Ok. I installed this card and is better than 1535 but is very big difference between intel's and killer's drivers, with killer's drivers transfer speed is two times better. I'm very happy :)

Are you still facing the issue"?

So is it worth trying all the fixes? Or should I just replace the Killer card for a different one? I'm about to go crazy. My WiFi drops every few minutes (not exaggerating) and I need it for both school and work (read: all day). I have only had this computer since the end of January and I'm ready to chuck it. It cost me way too much for this kind of stuff to be happening.
