XPS 15 battery suddenly drops to 5-6%

I have XPS 15 which I purchased last year. I have started noticing an issue with the battery. Let's say I have charged my laptop to 100%. I open the laptop after 2-3 days. I see that the battery indicator on windows shows 'low battery' around 5-7%.  When i put it on charging it shows again 90%. I checked the battery status on bios & it says good. Sometimes my laptop shuts down due to this fake low battery issue.

Please list exact Dell model number and version of windows. Example: Dell XPS 9560, windows 10.

If you don't know, type msinfo32 onto the search box, stroll down to System Model, you should see it now. The operating system is listed in System Information as well.

Hi,

Same problem here, put in on shutdown last night with no low battery, then this morning : critical level of battery, went off immediately as i turned it on and when i plugged the charger, turned it on, it shows 59%.

Perfectly synchronized with the end of my warranty last month...

Very annoying

I'm on a XPS 15 7590 windows10
