XPS 17 FHD or UHD
Hi,
Coming from a Macbook Pro with 2880 x 1800 resolution. I don’t need a touch screen but am concerned I may be disappointed with the FHD display. Any thoughts from those with experience with the FHD display would be appreciated.

Part of the answer depends on the applications you'll be running; not all will scale well on a QHD screen. Verify that your applications will run well on QHD. The other issue is, will you be able to live with a much shorter battery runtime? Pumping the data required by a 17" screen, plus the added power required by the screen itself, will very drastically shorten the runtime of the battery (you will see nowhere near the runtime on a Windows QHD system that you did on a Retina Macbook, for a number of reasons, not all of which are completely screen-related).

I guess the only way to tell if the programs will run properly scaled is to run them on that screen.
