XPS 13-9360, Touchpad friction, not smooth

Hi all,

I've used a few XPS 13's and XPS 17's in the past, but I am reluctant to get a new one because all the new one's I've looked at have very high friction, rubbery Touchpad's. Are there different models or years with smooth Touchpad's? Is your Touchpad slippery or rough? What model do you have? How old is yours? Do they smooth out over time? Is there something I can use to polish it with to make it smooth? I tend to work in humid environments and I can't glide my fingers smoothly over the new ones at all, which is quite frustrating as I really am dependent on using the Touchpad, and despite other minor issues, these laptops really are one of only three on the market that I can bear, save for going back to older models.
