XPS does not wake from sleep mode

About once a week my dell xps gets stuck in sleep mode and the only way out is a forced shutdown. It's had the issue since I got it. The computer version is: XPS15 Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU 2.80GHz 8GB RAM 64 bit No touch screen Running Windows 10 Home Any suggestions?

Rogerlles,

Go to start -settings-system-power & sleep. Change the settings to meet your criteria for sleep. Click additional power settings at the bottom. Select each section on the left column and choose the criteria for each on the right side. Do this for each one.

There may be a situation with one of your components keeping it from waking up correctly. Are you seeing any log entries in the Event Viewer which see to repeat over time? For me, I once had a secondary Display adapter starting to fail. But it may even be some external device.
