xps 15 9750 keyboard keys not being recognized

Recently I have had the f1, f2 and tilde keys stop being recognised when I type them, the operating systems themselves don't seem to be seeing the key press.

I have tested the keys in both Windows and Manjaro, and they don't work in either. I also have ran an update (in Manjaro) but that did not fix it.

I am not sure how to further trouble shoot and what I can do to fix this, especially since I suspect it is a hardware issue.
