xps 9343 click button in touchpad or palmrest
The left-hard-click from my xps13 is after 3 years kind of worn out and doesn't respond anymore as it should sometimes.
I think a replacement would be the best solution. Now the question is, is the hard-click function in the palmrest or in the touchpad itself? So which should I replace?

It's a separate part -- that said, only $10 separates the touchpad from the entire assembly. And before buying anything, look at the battery to see if any of the cells are swelling - which is a prime cause of touchpad issues. You may find it's the battery causing the problem, not the touchpad.

Thanks for your reply.
so I'll look inside soon, however, when it is not the battery I should replace the 50$ touchpad right?
