Yeah, I read that the 4090 will require 450W? That's a lot and they will generate a ton of heat and the lower vents are in the area of the GPU. The 13th Gen Intel CPU's are also going to need lots of power as well. The question becomes, will a 1000W PSU still be enough? We'll find out.

Will be interesting to see the power supply options for that. That processor combined with a larger AIO and the 4000 series Nvidia card will draw a fair amount of power.

With the new(er) regulations in many States it will be interesting to see if OEM's can meet the stringent power consumption requirements imposed by those States.

I think a 1,000 Watt CPU will be difficult for an OEM to ship and meet the requirements in several States.

Will have to be at least a Platinum grade or higher as I don't think anything below that will meet requirements. This will in turn increase the cost significantly...

They have already invested in the proprietary 10 pin psu specifically for the R13/14 case psu compartment so Dell likely will continue to use same psu form factor and pinout.

R13 users will want that vented side panel too.  Can R13 case be retrofitted with Dell 240 mm AIO at top?

Are there any indications that they are gimping their GPU's so as not to overload the power supply?

I am going to grab a 5900X now that the prices are low. Will last me for a few years without costing me an arm and a leg.

Nah...I'm happy with my 12 gen Core i9 and my 3090 card. That technology chase is just never-ending. I'll no doubt look around to see what's current in five years or so when I'm ready to update again.

Always thought Dell should have ditched the Sata HDD drive bay and added a larger cooler up top, there was enough room.  Looks like a 360mm should fit. The 4090 card must be massive; they moved the m.2 drive up next to the other m.2 drive.  Now only have 2 ram slots instead of 4 to make room for the m.2 move.  

If the CPU is still power throttled, and XMP is not an option, then it's a bust from the start.

Likely even more power throttled because of the video card using even more power than before.

If the 1,350 Watt power supply option is correct, that does not bode well for overall power consumption and heat. That will likely be the PSU to use for a 4090 and the 3080 for the 750 Watt.

The heat output and subsequent fan noise will be high in that case setup...

And if they are using the same MB with a different BIOS, or a minor board revision, it will be interesting to see if they will support XMP all of a sudden or not.

If it's not a new chipset and board design than I have little faith in this R15 based on the information above.
