Aurora R14, accidentally changed frequency in BIOS
I accidentally changed the frequency in the bios to the wrong frequency and now I can't get anything to come up on my screen. All the lights turn on in the system and it sounds like its running. How can I revert bios to load defaults
I accidentally changed the frequency in the bios to the wrong frequency and now I can't get anything to come up on my screen. All the lights turn on in the system and it sounds like its running. How can I revert bios to load defaults. I do not hear any beeps for a code. I don't think the keyboard is working either. It lights up but my astro base station don't turn on and my other keyboard doesn't light up at all. So far I have tried removing the cmos, but that doesn't do anything.
Do a hard reset 3 times in a row. Windows will take you to the repair, restore, diagnostic. You can do a repair or restore to point before the bios change.
I changed my monitor from Samsung G7 to a LG 4k monitor I have lying around. For some reason on the G7 I can't access bios from a fresh boot. Nothing will show up on screen. Display port connected for both monitors. I left the cmos out all night and drained any excess juice and changed ram so that screen would pop up and it worked. The lg monitor brought up the screen where it asks if you changed ram and from there I could go to bios restore defaults. Thanks Vanadiel
