Aurora R7, AWCC 4.8.23.0?
I am curious if anyone tried installing AWCC 4.8.23.0 on an Aurora R7. I have an Alienware monitor so I really would like to get all my Alienware FX devices working on the AWCC on the computer instead of doing separately. Any info is appreciated.

Yeah, you are not the first to notice.
They removed that functionality around version 4.0.x . Or maybe, around release of Aurora-R5 (first in this new series case and motherboard). When they moved-away from the large stand-alone MIO-Boards.
Weird huh :Huh?: My old Aurora-R1 (locked to an old version of AW-CC) still does those things and more.

I would try a clean install of AWCC v4.8.23.0 and see how it goes. You can always uninstall it and go back to v4.8.20.0.
Previously (or the way it usually works, for example) is if v4.8.20.0 is validated for your machine, you can run any v4.8.x version (that's how you get fixes and new features as the machine ages).

If you read the release notes it says it will control both. Thanks . Got to say for such a nice computer the Alienware FX is really lacking so far it’s a huge disappointment. Hoping changes come soon. Nothing I can do except change the color I can’t even run a color loop or spectrum of colors....I almost find it silly it can’t do this
The new AWCC version that will allow to control all the lights with a single application, will be available only for Area-51 Threadripper, not for your system. This AWCC may be validated for other systems in the future, but at the moment we do not have information about it.

is there still no new info about any updates to have one application for the Aurora R7. I have That Pc, an Alienware Pro gaming keyboard, and the Alienware 25 monitor. I have to change the led's for each device with 3 different methods.

Hi @schpeen,
This last version, will not change the fact that you need the 2 software apps to control the lights.
The CC will not control the lights of the Monitor, these will continue to be controlled by the Control Center.
