Just wondering why AWCC doesn’t give us a fan adjustments for our gpu. I have been using msi afterburners auto settings for my gpu fan and brought my temps down from 78c to 68c while gaming. There is only a front and top fan option. I have a R9 - 2080 super. It would be nice to add that to AWCC. 78c is still not bad while extreme gaming.
Dell programmed their recommended fan curves for the gpu, cpu (for air cooled) and for both of the 120mm case fans. AWCC will only let you adjust the 120mm case fans in AWCC. I'd guess that Dell is worried about someone setting a cpu or gpu fan too low to reduce noise and potentially damaging a warranted system that Dell would then have to fix.
Yeah... Well like I said I have MSI/AF running the auto gpu fan before I start gaming and I think its set to around 40ish %. My 2080 Super does not get over 70c. Extreme gaming 65-68 c. But I understand.
