Experience & suggestions for scratch removal

Dear community,

I've got a small but annoying scratch right in the center of my AW3423DW screen. Has anyone any experience or suggestions on how to polish / remove a scratch? I've stumbled across several products, eg polywatch. Would the use of such a product leave visible marks due to an effect (abrasion) of any coating?

Im looking for any advice whether I should try to polish or rather leave as it is.

Thanks!

I would check with a Dell agent to see if they can work something out with you, since that monitor has extended warranty features.

You can contact them by pressing the get help now button in the lower right corner. Worth a try.

I have never found a product or procedure that will remove or polish-away a scratch on (it's display panel or touchscreen) of a monitor, phone, iPad, or and portable-device ...

... made of plastic or any version of surfaces proclaiming to be "glass".

The best solution is to protect it during use and cleaning, and never let it get scratched in the first place.

I think the reason why is because these surfaces are not polished to be smooth and mirror-like ... they are manufactured perfectly smooth initially.
