15 R2, AGA Dell Part 452-BBQS, compatible?

Hi,

I was looking into buying an Alienware Graphics Amplifier but i noticed that on the German site the part number of the AGA is 452-BBQS which is different than the part number on the international/US site. in addition on the german site the support it states support for Alienware R3 but R2 is not on the list.

does that mean the AGA i can buy in germany with part number 452-BBQS will not be compatible with my laptop?

if it does infact support my laptop, are there any restrictions to performance or the type of graphic cards i can use with my laptop?

    Hi @Nusane,

The AGA is compatible with you AW15R2.

Regarding the supported video cards, please check this article.

Thanks so much for the quick reply Eimy

so from the list of supported GCs you linked i gather the GTX 1080 is as high as i can go? an  RTX 2080 Ti will not work for me? :(
