17 R4, external display ports inactive after sleep mode
So I have a 2016 Alienware 17 R4 and I recently updated the BIOS. Strangely, when I put the machine to sleep my HDMI and DisplayPorts don't work when it wakes? I dual boot Windows and Linux and both of them have the same problem. So I know it's got to have something to do with the BIOS/hardware. Is there a BIOS setting or something that governs this?

Flash the bios again with the update on a usb stick so you can use the built in tools. MAKE SURE TO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER WHILE ITS UPDATING OR ELSE IT WILL RENDER YOUR UNIT UNUSABLE.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
