Go to Solution17 R5, Killer E2500 failing
The Alienware 17 R5 Diagnostic Full Test found that Killer E2500 Gigabit Ethernet Controller is failing and should be replaced. However, the Alienware 17 R5 Service Manual does not say where to find this Network Card. Does anyone know how to replace this part?

The reason that the 17 R5 Service Manual does not discuss the removal is because the Killer E2500 Gigabit Ethernet Controller is built integrated onto the 17 R5 motherboard. You would have to replace the motherboard.
