    Hi @Preston00,

    It is normal. An power saving feature disables the DVD drive, and when an app reads it back, it clicks. To get rid of the noise, a workaround is to disable it from the device manager and enable it if it's needed.

    If you want you can try a clean boot since this is related to background apps or updates.

    Yes, what we meant to say is that it does that sound as if it were ejecting. That's what's normal. You can try the workaround suggested if you'd like to get rid of it.

    i think the noise you are hearing are coming from the fans, that is the sound from the starting of the little motor and is completely normal :)
