Alienware M17 R4 2021 version
I ordered an Alienware M17 R4 a couple weeks ago. I paid an extra $25 to have it shipped FedEx Overnight shipping. I checked today and it was shipped from CHINA via UPS. What is going on? I read this takes months to receive and what did I pay the extra $25 overnight shipping for? Anyone else have there's shipped from China? How long did it take for you to get it?

The overnight shipping applies once the system reaches a Dell logistics site in your home country.
All Alienware notebooks are built in China for Dell -- currently by Compal Electronics, one of the two largest notebook manufacturers in the world. For that matter, the vast majority of all notebooks are built in China -- not just Alienware systems.
