m15 R6, TB port does not accept power message
Hi,
I have an Alienware m15 R6 that is connected to both the Power Brick and the Dell TB16 dock. On every boot with both the Power Brick and Dock connected, the system boots up with a prompt highlighting that "Your port does not accept power. To supply power to your system while docked, attach a power adapter to your system.". This warning cannot be disabled and prevents a headless boot and needs manual intervention.
I can understand the message if the power brick is not connected but it is ridiculous to have a prompt that cannot be disabled or detect that the Power Brick is connected.
I have tried all options to disable adapter warnings and USB port warnings, etc but cannot seem to get pass this message without manual intervention.
Is there a way to circumvent this message and boot normally if the power brick is connected? Looks like an important check that is not catered for in the Dell BIOS.

I have the same laptop, M15 R6, I recently added a Dell WD22TB4 dock and I receive the same message on boot. Also, I connected a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" Ultrawide monitor and every time I reboot the resolution gets lowered or the monitor is unrecognized until I unplug then plug back in the display port connection.

I have updated ALL drivers and the BIOS. I even turned off warning messages for dock in the preboot section of the BIOS and I still get the error.

Same exact issue. Found threads on this topic dated back to 2021 and Dell still hasn't fix this problem. Absolutely ridiculous.
On my M15 R6, if I go into the BIOS settings > Pre-boot Behavior and set "Warnings and Errors" to "Continue on Warnings and Errors", the laptop will show the warning message with the buttons for 5 seconds, but then goes black, POSTs again, then boots up normally. I know it isn't a complete fix and still causes it to take longer to boot than normal, but at least it doesn't require a button click.

I am also having this problem with the same hardware. Combined with how the laptop turns itself on in the middle of the night for whatever reason, it just sits there with this message on. It is a good thing I do not have it in my laptop bag or it would overheat. Also, this could cause screen burn-in with the message. I cannot believe nobody has replied to the OP's post.
