I have an Alienware X17 R2, with a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900H and a 3080 GPU, and I have recently been experiencing overheating issues with my CPU, so I opened it up to replace the thermal paste, after getting to the heatsink, I noticed that the part that connects the CPU part of the heatsink to the rest of it was separating. I'm not even sure how that could happen, but it's only a little over a year old, so what steps should I take in relation to that? There's no longer any warranty's on it and of course I cancelled my best buy protection after a year since I typically experience issues in that time frame with PC's.
