Reusing deleted appliance name

Has anyone encountered a problem of attempting to reuse a deleted appliance name?

I deployed an uploaded image as appliance titled "win7x64t" before realizing the rdp has to run on port 8000 :-) So I deleted the appliance, but the task reported "Internal Server Error". The appliance is no longer on my appliance list, as witnessed by emc-caas-getappliancelist. But when I try to deploy a newly uploaded image as appliance titled "win7x64t" I get an error message that the appliance name already exists, e.g.

emc-caas-deployimagetoappliance --username XXX --password YYY --org ZZZ --vdc WWW --imagename win7x64 --haspublicIP no --instancetype small --deployedname win7x64t

vm win7x64t already exists.

Has anyone ran into this problem? I know the obvious work around it use a different name, but was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem and found a real solution.
thanks,
Nik

I've had to upload my Windows 2003 image several times (I forgot the RDP port 8000 as well) and did not encounter this issue; i've been using the name 'w2k3' over and over again on the deploy CLI command.

    Regards,
