avamar software installation

Hy,

We would like to install Avamar software v5 on a single node server with two data partitions. After I run avqinstall, we get the following error that

we cannot install Avamar server on unsupported node type "supernode"

root@avamar:~/#: avqinstall
[avqinstall v5.0.0-37]
avqinstall: INFO: logging to "/usr/local/avamar/var/log/avqinstall.log"
avqinstall: ERROR: cannot install Avamar server software on unsupported node type "supernode"
*** For details please see the log file: "/usr/local/avamar/var/log/avqinstall.log

Any ideas?

Thanks

Matej

    Hi Manikandan,

Thank you, SR-33234464 help me to solve the problem: ERROR: cannot install Avamar server software on unsupported node type "supernode"

Now I have another problem. At the end of avqinstall process, installation stop with error:

avqinstall: INFO: to monitor progress, run in another window: tail -f /tmp/avqinstall-command-output.20211

    avqinstall: ERROR: run command failed: 'start.dpn --clean --password="8RttoTriz" --systemname="V-AVAMAR-V23" --repl_password="9RttoTriz" --lmaddr='10.101.20.55' --expert --hfsport=27000'

I already create checkfs-tweaks.pl file in admin's home directory and  place the following line of text into the checkfs-tweaks.pl file:

    $MINDATASIZE = 10;

I don`t know what is the reason. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Matej

It would help a lot if you also included the errors from /tmp/avqinstall-command-output.20211.

    Hi,

I didn`t change or set any password. Where can I set this password? In install.conf?
