Celerra email notification different than usual

A few months ago, we change the recipients of the message alerts, now we are receiving extrange alert messages that we can't read. The celerra seems to be ok, and not warnings or errors are sawn.

With the mail notification ther is atached one file that seams to be a log, but we can't open it or read it, the extension of the file is _log_config.gz.en2.

I copy here one of the notifications in case anyone knows what's all this about.

That is not an email alert for customer notification that is a call home data for SYR Server to produce your Call home cases

This would not be basically readable.

This is happening since you have put the email address on nas_connecthome rather than putting your email address in nas_emailuser

We are using Celerra version 5.5, and the nas_emailuser command don't exist.

We try to disable Encryption, but with the same results.

NAS 5.5 was end of support on Dec 31th 2010.

The emailhome data is base64 encoded. Only the encrytion can be turned of.

If you want to read the data, you need to decode it, there are some websites and tools doing this.

Because of this the nas_emailuser command was created.

I am sorry i did not know that it was 5.5.......

to decode the file you can save the content of the file as .xml file and then open it, you will find the content of call home.

    Thanks,

    Rohan
