nasdb_backup is growing up

Size of nasdb_backup is increasing.
1 nasdb_backup is about 50MB, only for nasdb_backup used of /nas/var is more than 35%.
so I want to decrease size of nasdb_backup. Is there a way?
should I decrease /nas/server and /nas/volume, etc...??

Please do not alter or modify or change any system files or folders as it may cause severe damage to the Celerra.

If the hourly nasdb backup is taking a longer time (which is quite normal over the time), there is proper procedure to trim the NASDB Database - Please contact EMC Celerra Support or open a Service Request to get that done. The support person will do the needful for you on the box. You may also consider contacting your EMC CE or Local RTS person for help. But please do not delete or modify any files/folders.

    Thanks,
