    Please provide the output of a fs_replicate -info command.

    It will also show how many outstanding delta are there.

    Most likely you may have to restart the replication - however, before doing so, I'll suggest to engage EMC support.

    Also source SavVol info is

    total_savevol_space = 31457280 KBytes
    savevol_space_available = 0 KBytes (Before Flow Control)

    do u think this is causing the problem?

    It looks like the replication inactive on the source end but active on the destination end. Also the flowcontrol is showing inactive - so should not be an issue with SavVol. Can you run fs_replicate -info command which will provide more details.

    Also, are you using AVM? if so, which pool is used as SavVol and what is the free space on that Pool?

    Thanks,
    Sandip

    Hi Amol,

    It depends on the current status of the replication - whether you need to start it from fresh or whether you can resume. Please check the replication status on both source and destination - if possible, provide a fs_replicate command output for both the file systems.

    If there is no way to resume the current replication state (you mentioned it was working before) - you need to consider it as a new replication setup and follow the process. Before that, you may have to delete the current replication.

    However, the current status is important. Also check whether the network is available between two boxes and whether each box have sufficient free space available for SavVol area.

    Lastly, you may involve EMC support before making any decission.

    Thanks,
    Sandip

    Hey Sandip,
    Thanks for your help.

    I got the solution from EMC. They told me to abort the replication first and then unmount and delete file system from destination.

    If anybody want more info on this topic please let me know.

    Regards,
    Amol
