VTLU to Physical Tape

Good Afternoon...I'm sure I read something about this in another thread, but I haven't been able to locate it..

I have an NX4, configured with four NFS exports. Am currently performing NDMP to VTLU backups with Symantec Backup Exec 2010 and need to dump once a month from VTLU to Physical Tape. First...is it possible with this configuration...Second, if it is, what would be the cleanest way to do it...Thanks a bunch

    do you mean the Celerra built-in NDMP VTLU feature?

    for that there is no special tape export - just use your backup software's tape/saveset cloning functionality

    In Backupexec there is a "new job to duplicate backup sets" under job setup. You can copy the Virtual Tapes to Real tape. I do this with our setup. After a certain time frame on virtuals we move to Real and then send offsite.
