If you think to by a 3rd party SSD for your Compellent than i can say that this will not work. You need a original Dell Compellent drive because of special formation and FW/label of the disk.
Yes you cant buy a new complete Compellent SAN from Dell since 8/2021 because of End of Sale, but buying extension, disk and so goes up to year 2024 and support will end in 2028.
If there is a shortage for that drive ask how it looks like for 1.92TB drives.
