Hi guys
Does Compellent support SNMP v3? In our network, only SNMP v3 is allowed.
Cheers, Dani

I believe Compellent is currently using SNMP v2C. That was added in SCOS 6.3. I did not see anything in the 6.4 new features or 6.5 release notes documents that I have on adding v3.

Hi, I can't get our compellent (CT-SCv3020) to be discovered in Dell OME using SNMPv3. It discovers fine with SNMPv2. It is running FW 7.2.40.36.
If I run the Dell Troubleshooting tool I get the following output.
SNMP Error number=-37 snmpget - Decryption error
2643
I have just tried and got a different error
MIB-II (System Name)::EndError in packet: (genError) A general failure occured
Any help would be appreciated as are only allowed SNMPv3 in environment
