Adding a 8 GB line card

Hello,

Slots 8/9 are currently empty on my MDS 9509's. I need to add an additional 8 GB line card. Can we do that as Non Disruptive FRU?

Many thanks in advance!

should be fine then, take switch backup, ground yourself to the switch itself and gently slide the blade inside . It will take a couple of minutes to boot up (it might need to be either upgraded or downgraded to match the current version on the switch ..it will happen automatically), whole process is non-disruptive process.
