DS-300B ISL SFP
Hi! Everyone
We use DS-300B * 2EA, which are tied together by ISL.
Simple information Firmware Version : 6.4.1 / ISL Port speed : 1G
I have a question here. If ISL's SFP Module needs to be replaced, can i just replace another SFP Moudle??
Does being bound by ISL mean that there is no need for special procedures??
Thanks!

If it's an ISL, you might have to disable/re-enable the port on the other side of the ISL link. Sometimes if the other side goes offline due to CRC/BitErrors ..you have to "cycle" the port for the link to come back up.

Hello Blackhamer,
When replacing an SFP, follow these steps:
1. Disable the Port (Also disable the port when a SFP is in Faulted or Missing state).
2. Replace the SFP
3. Enable the Port
Once all steps are performed, the Port should work fine.
