Before I went on my 2 month long vacation I was called by Dell to extend my warranty on the desktop I bought with them as well as my other laptop. However there is some complications in it due to the fact the the sales team told me that even though my warranty has been expired for more than 3 months, I would be able to get a warranty so I agreed on it but I need to get my serial number authorized and replaced due to the fact that I got my desktop replace under previous warranty and for some odd reason they don't have it in the record. When I called the warranty department they told me that they can help change the serial number on my desktop but they asked why. Then I explained what was I getting offered then they told me that that's not possible due to the fact that I didn't extended my warranty within the 30 day grace period. Then I told myself this is consuming a lot of my time so I just decided not to get however 2 weeks after I receive this charge in my credit card. Which I provided last time with the sales team. and I got charged $233.10 without any consent nor receipt at all. I tried calling thru customer service line and they keep forwarding me to different departments at least 4 times every time I call. and I always ended up waiting in the line for 2 hours without having someone to verify the charges I had with. I just came back from my vacation that the reason why I just got this posted as well as I don't think I would get a chance to be heard in the customer service hotline. it really is teribble and theres times that they hang up on you. it was charged btw under this description.(DELL CANADA INC 800-WWWDELL ON - $233.10).
You can discuss available options with your bank, especially if you did not give them permission to charge your card. Be warned though that if you gave them your CC number over the phone that could be considered permission to charge. I would also check your JUNK email box for possible emails from Dell.
