I placed my order for the Xbox One Fallout 4 Bundle. Payment approved and was set to be here by Dec 3rd. I get an email today saying my order was cancelled. What gives?
I ordered something that after multiple weeks was canceled with an email stating that there was something wrong with my order but they could not tell me what exactly it was. Then a week later a package from Dell arrives which we refused. We look in outer account and apparently after cancelling our order Dell submitted a different order without notice and not the same as the first. Now they are trying to tell us that refusing deliver is an unauthorized return. How can I not be authorozed to return an order that I did not authorize in the first place. Despite numerous calls and emails Dell is non responsive, including this forum. Thank god we have Amex to help us sort this out with Dell. Dell seems to be playing games with orders, not responding to emails and calls in what seems like an attempt to get past their return period so they can keep your order and charge you anyway. Very poor customer service which starts at the top. Have been a customer for 30 years. Bought millions in equipment. Never seen them stoop this low before. They must really be struggling to behave this desperately. After one experience like this there are few customers that will come back for more.
Your not the only one. The Xbox deal was a shameful marketing trick. I just spent 5 hours being transferred around and being told "there is nothing they can do". Pathetic and completely unethical.
I'm having the same problem. I purchased the Xbox One Fallout 4 bundle and wanted to check the status so I know when to expect it so I checked status and it says it was canceled. When I call the automated service it says it is being processed. The amount still shows as pending on my card so I can't spend it otherwise. This is a very important Christmas gift for my kids and I can't find it anywhere else. I turned down the Target Black Friday deal so I could get this bundle. I've never had a problem with Dell and all of my computers are Dell but this is definitely a problem and I'm not happy at all.
Same here. Really fantastic customer experience here... Dell cancels order, doesn't bother sending out any type of notification to make me aware of the cancelled order. Login to check the shipping status, and my order is cancelled. That's weird. Call the 800 number which plays the message that call volumes are high and recommends using online customer support. Wait in "queue" for an hour and a half for a representative who tells me they cannot provide any information and suggest calling the 800 number. Call the 800 number and after 2 hours of waiting on hold am told that Dell "oversold" the product and there is nothing to be done about it. Dell, you could at least send out a notification as to why the orders are being cancelled. It's bad enough that you *** us all out of Black Friday pricing by not alerting customers to the fact that you couldn't deliver on your offer until BF and Cyber Monday were over with but you also wasted nearly 4 hours of my time today. So thank you for that.
